Hidden Gem less than two hours from Bangkok

Most people visit Ayutthaya in a one day trip from Bangkok. It's less than two hours away. And it pales in comparison to places such as Angkor Wat and Luang Prabang. True enough, but this view overlooks the convenience and charm of Ayutthaya.
iuDia is one of those charms. On the river across from a major Wat (see picture) that has both Thai and Khmer (Cambodian) styles stupas, and an easy bike ride (and even walk) from Ayutthaya's historical park, iuDia is a real find. This small boutique hotel has a nice swimming pool (a real benefit after visiting old temples in the heat of Thailand) and the back of the hotel overlooks the river.
